This feature is activated when your site goes live.
Your church app is called "Our Church" it is available in the apple app store and google play. It's already active so there's nothing you need to do to activate it. To see how it works click the link to the right for your device. After you install the app it'll open to a search screen. Search for your church. As you type it'll show matching church's below the search. When you see your church touch it to select it. From this point forward when you open the app it'll go directly to your church.
The app will pull content from your website. So for example when you add a new sermon to your site the new sermon will be added to the app as well. Sermons, events and blog posts are all added to the app automatically.
In the admin area of your site you'll see Mobile App that's where you'll manage your app.
The first place you may want to go is the app settings page. You can add your logo and adjust the colors of the app.
On the App menus page you can manage the bottom and left menus. The bottom menu is limited to 5 menu items. You can link to app pages or pages of your website. For example you'll likely want to link to the giving page of your website.

V2.0 of the app was released on 6/4/2019. This is a complete rebuild and there are major changes.
App Pages
The app will now use pages from your website rather than app pages. So App pages will be phased out in the future. There’s a new setting at mobile app > app settings “App Home Page” Here you can set the page to show as the app home page. By default it’ll load your website’s home page (or app page home if one exists). The app will also load the event, sermons, prayer wall etc. Everything on your site can be added to the app. In fact by default the app will mirror your website. Note the header, menu and footer will be removed from the web pages in the app. And since it’s fully responsive the app will take advantage of the screen size on tablets.
App Menus
By default the app’s left menu will be the same as your website’s main menu. If you’d like to create a different menu for the app create a new menu at appearance > menus and add the pages you’d like to the menu. Then go to mobile app > app menu and select the new menu at the top.
App Notifications
App notifications was one of our most requested features. To sent a notification click Send app notification. Type in the message you'd like to send then click Send Notification Now. Every person with the Our Church app installed and your church selected will instantly receive your message.
I suggest installing the app on your own device so you can see for yourself how it works. You can adjust colors and send yourself test notifications for example.
