The donation form can be setup to use PayPal, authorize.net, Stripe, Square or 2Checkout.
The most popular options are stripe and PayPal. But we can make almost any online giving option work with your website. So long as they provide a link or embed code to add to your site, it can be added. Sometimes people go to their local back and set up a merchant account. If their merchant account works with the authorize.net gateway, that will work. If not, it’s unlikely to work with your website.
If you choose to use one of the 5 options (PayPal, authorize.net, Stripe, Square or 2Checkout) that work with the donation form, contact support@churchdev.com, and we’ll help you get the donation form connected to your provider.
If you use a provider that doesn’t work with the donation form you’ll need a link or embed code from your provider to add it to your site. You’ll want to remove the donation form from the giving page, since you will not be using it. If they give you a link, add it using a button module. If they give you an embed code, add it using an HTML module.
