Prayer Wall Overview

How does it work?

Visitors are able to add a prayer request from your prayer wall page. When a new prayer request is added the visitor is sent an email with a message (subject and message set on the prayer settings page) with a message and a link to mark the prayer answered and another to delete the prayer request. Another email is sent to the admin email address (set on the prayer settings page) with the prayer request details and a link to approve or trash the prayer request.

Once approved the prayer request will be shared based on the visitors wishes.

1. Share Online – The prayer request will show on the prayer wall and the name will show.
2. Share Online Anonymously – The prayer request will show on the prayer wall but the name will be “Anonymous”.
3. DO NOT Share Online – The prayer request will not show on the prayer wall at all.

Visitors to the prayer wall are able to pray then click the “I prayed for this” button. When that button is clicked the prayer count goes up, if the person that posted the prayer request put in their email address and select to be notified when someone prays they will get an uplifting email telling them someone has prayed for them. The visitor that prayed will get a thank you for praying message and will get that message until the number of hours set in “Pray again hours” on the prayer settings page has past.

The prayer request will remain on the prayer wall until removed by the user or by the admin.
